Frequently Asked Questions

What is Rally Round?

Rally Round enables family members, friends and carers to create and organise support for someone they care about. Rally Round was designed to help frail older people and/or their family carers, but it can be used to help anyone who is vulnerable and needs more practical support.
Rally Round is provided due to support of Local Authorities, NHS organisations, third sector organisations and Housing Associations. Any member of the public can create a Rally Round account. Support networks can be started provided the person being helped, or the person starting the network, lives in an area where Rally Round has been made available. Once a support network has been started anyone can be invited to join it, regardless of where they live.
Rally Round is owned and provided by Health2Works Ltd. We can be contacted at [email protected]

Starting and Managing a Support Network

To get started go to www./ and click on the “Get Started” button.
Generally only one person in any network can issue invitations to family members and friends to join. We call this person the network coordinator. Usually the network coordinator is the person who starts a network. Coordinators can issue invitations to others from the “Helper” tab on the dashboard.

We say “generally’ because a network co-ordinator can also choose to share some of their controls with the person being helped
There is no limit to how many people can join a support network. But please remember, only invite people you know and trust, as all members of a network can see all the tasks that need doing.

Being a Network Member

You need to be invited to join a support network by that network's coordinator. If you are invited you will receive an email from Rally Round asking you to accept the invitation to join.
To keep you in the loop Rally Round offers lots of choices on notifications, by email and by text. You can set your preferred notifications by going to the Preferences section that is part of your account settings.
